Charles LEVIER (1920 – 2003) is a Franco-American artist. His first solo exhibition was at the Galerie Constantine in Lyon in 1949, followed by his American debut in Los Angeles in 1950. His work belongs to the figurative movement known as \u201cLes Trente Glorieuses\u201d. Inspired by Hollywood cinema, Charles Levier uses harmony and purity in his creations, which depict a delicate, luminous world, with subtle hues and carefully studied colors.<\/p>\n
