The Coast of Grace, Stefani (1938)

The pictorial touch is lively and nervous. It is an oil on panel.

The gilded wooden frame in Louis XV style with channels and acanthus decoration perfectly highlights it.

*Stefani is a French post-impressionist painter, born in Roubaix in 1938 where he studied painting. In the 1960s, he became one of the founding members of the Association des Artistes de la Côte d’Opale. He has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout France and won many awards for his work. Over the years, Stefani became famous for its seascapes, harbour scenes and still lifes.
