Oblong crystal tray, "Moscow" model, Hubert Fouarge for the Val St Lambert, 1908

Oblong top, in clear cobalt blue lined crystal and beautifully adorned with a rich size. This engraving is by Hubert Fouarge, for the Cristallerie du Val-Saint-Lambert, very fine and very complex, highlighting the reflections of the crystal. This tray is from the collection Moscow, the apogee of rich size, dating from 1908. It is based on the assembly of four large almond panels, connected by curved ribbons and centered on double star patterns. The edges of the small sides are scalloped, while the edges of the large sides are jagged.
