Very beautiful commemorative medal from the International Exhibition of Antwerp 1930.

Inscription: WERELDTENTOONSTELLING ANTWERPEN EXHIBITION INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION ANTWERP

Obverse: City scene with a large cathedral tower on the left, with flags on the right, a monoplane in the right field and “1930” on the stylized front of the ship.

Reverse: Three characters on the right: a bearded old man (Neptune?) sitting with an oar and a hand on a vase spilling water, a topless woman behind holding a sculpture at arm’s length and a naked African woman in a boat among various objects including tusks, with a Greek-inspired building on the left.
