Set of 6 Art Deco-style walnut gondola chairs.
The wood has been air-blasted to reveal its grain and quality. It was then refinished with a matte finish, which gives this set a very contemporary look. The openwork backrest features a central section adorned with a design carved into the wood that is repeated on each chair, reinforcing the fact that these chairs were created at the same time by the same cabinetmaker.
The seat has been completely reupholstered with a contemporary beige velour-like fabric that is slightly irregular and machine-washable.
The front legs are straight, while the rear legs are sabre-shaped.
