Two middle units, Louis Philippe style

Two small, light and refined pieces of middle furniture, with the same veneer, the same shape, the same dimensions, but differing in their fronts: one with 3 drawers, the other with one drawer and underneath a storage space opening with two doors.
They’re perfect as side tables in the living room, as bedside tables in the bedroom, or to hold a pocket divider or lamp in the hall.
Exotic wood and mahogany inlay. Dark wood inlay on top, front and sides. The back features a uniform veneer. They are designed to be visible from all sides.
Overall rectangular shape with slightly curved front, scalloped edges and curved legs. Scalloped gallery around the top, bronze in front of the front legs.
Period: second half of the 19th century.
Height: 75 cm, width: 31.5 cm x length: 38.5 cm.
Excellent condition. Possible repainting of the upper edge of the gallery of one of them.
