“The Wild Geese Garden”, silk painting, Kazuro Tozuka

Painting on silk by Japanese painter Kazuro Tozuka. It depicts two geese at the water’s edge under an orange-toned maple tree.

Approved and signed by the artist with his “chop” (personal stamp). Limited edition by the Franklin Gallery, with certificate of authenticity dated January 1987.

Geese, highly prized in Japan, symbolize happiness and harmony in marriage, and are also associated with intelligence.

Framed in wood, under acrylic, with cream and gold passe-partout.
